The Storm

Brace yourselves, more Game of Thrones puns are coming. Winter finally arrived on The Walking Dead Season 9 episode 16, but unlike the raging snowstorm that engulfed the communities, it was mostly uneventful. However, that's somewhat forgiving considering that last weeks emotional rollercoaster was a tough act to follow. Getting a glimpse of how the groups deal with the elements while trying to survive is something that has never gotten depicted before. And while it did a decen... more

The Calm Before

We knew it was coming, but nothing could have prepared us for that heartbreaking scene. The Walking Dead Season 9 Episode 15 was hands down the best and most emotional episode this season. Yes, even more so than Rick's farewell. It was that good. And if you thought Michonne's child massacre on The Walking Dead Season 9 Episode 14 was disturbing, it was only the tip of the iceberg. "The Calm Before" was anything but. Sure there were moments of joy and tranquilit... more

Scars

Time heals all wounds, but the scars from being branded by brainwashed psycho children remain forever. Okay, I may have taken some liberties with that quote, but the point is that The Walking Dead Season 9 Episode 14 at long last addressed the trauma Michonne was subjected to in the years following Rick's sacrifice. It was probably one of the weakest episodes in the season, but at the very least, the root of Michonne's severe trust issues was brought to light. ... more

'The Walking Dead' Review: A Sad Winter Finale Comes In 'The Storm'

This Season On “The Walking Dead” It’s been an oddly successful season of “The Walking Dead,” despite the many narrative stops-and-starts baked in to accommodate various “new beginnings” (both in-story and on the creative side with new showrunner Angela Kang) as well as the departure of two major characters. When your season has three time-jumps, things are clearly being shaken up, and while the initial jump forward of the premiere sought to put some distance between the (frankly, awful) Seasons 7 and 8, the d... more

New "Walking Dead" Spinoff In The Works, AMC Executives Confirm

Asked to elaborate on CEO Josh Sapan’s mention of a third zombie outing, COO Ed Carroll said the spinoff is in “active development.” He declined to offer many more specifics, including whether it would fall under an existing distribution agreement with Hulu. “We’re not at a stage where we’ll be announcing its plans to premiere,” Carroll said. “But we have hired creative people that have pitched story outlines. We feel very good about the development of that series. We’re not in a position to talk abo... more

Walking Dead Renewed for Season 10

Just six days before The Walking Dead returns with the second half of its ninth season (Sunday, 9/8c), AMC has renewed the hit series for a tenth outing. Thus far across the first half of Season 9, The Walking Dead is averaging 5.2 million total viewers and a 2.0 demo rating, down 33 and 40 percent from its Season 8 average but still leading all AMC shows (and more than doubling spinoff Fear the Walking Dead’s numbers). AMC CEO Josh Sapan hinted back in 2017 that The Walking Dead could remain on the air ... more

I don´t like the ending of the last episode. Were there no indications whatsoever that the scrap heap people and the freaky lanky bitch leading them were allied to Negan? Normally such information can be found out. It would be foolish to trust strangers and wise to have spied on them before the joining of forces and the battle. Also once the battle was underway and the alexandrians and Kingdom people had forced the enemy to flee it was very stupid and a major military blunder to have just let them run. The script writers obviously have no military experience or knowledge. You do not allow an enemy fleeing the battlefield in panic and disarray to escape. They had the advantage and the momentum and they should have mounted their vehicles and pursued and killed all of them while they had a chance. The fleeing enemy must not be allowed to stop and re-group. Most of the enemy were on foot and Negan only had a few minutes head start and could have been caught up with and killed.

I think I should be called in to write the script of this show. Zombies or no Zombies, Gouverners and Negans and Saviours or not, it is just so pathetic that they are so defenceless. Even if a huge number of the population has died or been turned into Zombies, there would still be plenty of food supplies and weapons and ammunition and fuel left somewhere which they could forage for. There are 27 military bases in Virginia alone (one of which is a major ammunition dump) swarms of police stations and gun shops. They cannot all have been looted and gutted clean. There must be plenty of fuel to be found. There were tanks and heavy armour in the streets of Atlanta and at the centre for disease control. There is a National Guard garrison in Virginia and heavy armour and underground bunkers in Arlington. It is not difficult to learn to drive a tank or to go to an air force base and find a helicopter or even ultra light aircraft which they could drop hand grenades from right on bloody Ne
