The Kids Are All Fight

Over the past twenty-six seasons, there have been countless instances of Bart and Lisa fighting, but some of the best episodes are the ones where they work together as a team.  The two of them have an "uneasy alliance," as Lisa put it.  Thanks to The Simpsons Season 26 Episode 19, we now know the story of how that alliance came to be.  It's always cute seeing little Bart and Lisa, but little Ralph is super adorable. I love him at any age, but his "your brother is s... more

Let's Go Fly a Coot

Have kid's birthday parties gotten a little too out of hand?  If they're anything like what we saw on The Simpsons Season 26 Episode 20, I'd have to agree with Homer.  Mine weren't nearly that elaborate, but they were more than a cake, and we did give out goody bags. No birds in plastic bags, though. I'm with Bart, I think of Abe as an Army vet thanks to the awesome "Flying Hellfish" episode. But, Lisa's right too, as Abe has claimed to have been in the Navy as well... more

Bull-E

Bullying is a serious issue that has been tackled often on TV recently.  However, none have tackled it in quite the same way as The Simpsons Season 26 Episode 21 did.  After twenty-six seasons, is this really the end of Homer's bullying of Ned?  Somehow, I doubt it. There have been instances over the years where Homer and Ned have put aside their differences and gotten along, but in the end, Homer will always revert back to his "stupid Flanders" ways. He had a ni... more

'The Simpsons': Billy Eichner Reveals His Role as a Bossy Fourth Grader

The publishing industry is hitting hard times, even in Springfield. On “The Simpsons,” the solution is the same as those to most of life’s problems: Bring in Billy Eichner. Eichner makes his “Simpsons” debut on this Sunday’s episode, “Krusty the Clown.” As the title might hint, the main storyline revolves around Homer’s newfound vocation as a TV recapper. But Lisa’s the one with the bigger media-related problem, facing down the Daily Fourth Gra... more

'The Simpsons' Is Eliminating Apu, But Producer Adi Shankar Found the Perfect Script to Solve the Apu Problem

In April producer Adi Shankar launched a spec script contest for “The Simpsons” to solve what has become known as the show’s “Apu Problem.” The long-running character, a convenience store owner voiced by Hank Azaria, has become a controversial figure because many believe him to be an inaccurate and hurtful portrayal of Indian-Americans. It was Shankar’s intention to crowdsource a script that “in a clever way subverts him, pivots him, writes him out, or evolves h... more
