If Not Now, When?

Some hours of televison are so powerful and profound that no amount of words can do them justice.  I believe The Resident Season 2 Episode 20 is one of those hours. It's one of the most incredible hours of the series to date and one of which will leave a lasting impact. Storytelling is best when it's influential and resonates -- when you walk away from it, and it makes you think. As a general disclaimer, I don't like getting personal while reviewing shows, a... more

Snowed In

Spring is here, but winter was in full-force on The Resident Season 2 Episode 19.  A huge Atlantian snowstorm was a bold but fun choice for a backdrop in the installment, but it had nothing on the tension brewing between all the couples and "couples" of the series.  What in the hell is going on with CoNic?  Donna was a sweet, warm woman, and while she was dying, I'm pleased the hour didn't end with her actual death. It would have been too difficult; however... more

Emergency Contact

First things first, we got ourselves a season three renewal, you guys!!  Remember when there were people *cough* critics who weren't at BTVGuide *cough* who said The Resident was DOA? Welp, look at where we are now.  Anyway, The Resident Season 2 Episode 18 saw the return and departure of Julian (whatever) and Marshall's departure, as well. What are we going to do without Marshall?! Glenn Morshower must resume his role next season, even if it's a short while. ... more

As for Marshall and Julian, only one of those cliffhangers was fully resolved in Monday’s episode, with the other taking an even more worrying turn. Read on for the details of “After the Fall”: ... more

THE RESIDENT Season 2 Episode 2 Photos The Prince & The Pauper

Meanwhile, Mina’s relationship with Micah struggles in the wake of his healing process, and Devon is tasked with s... more
