Welcome to Earth

The president is in the house! Lynda Carter made a guest appearance on Supergirl Season 2 Episode 3 as the POTUS, and Kara's reaction could not have been more adorable.  How great was it to see a superhero – who can fly – get so giddy over Air Force One?  With the election looming, Supergirl took on its own political debate in the form of alien rights. Of course, when they say alien, they actually mean from another planet, but the sentiment is still very relatab... more

Kara Meets the President

Supergirl has spent most of season 2 introducing Clark Kent/Superman. Clark is far from the only announced new character for the show's sophomore season. Supergirl Recap: White House Down

First things first: Supergirl, Alex and Lena agreed to put their differences aside, forming my favorite female supergroup since Legends of Tomorrow gave us the Sirens of Space-Time. After interrogating one of Eve’s test-subject cousins — who was absolutely played by the same actress who just had “a lot of feelings” in Mean Girls — the trio narrowed its scope, which led to the discovery of some artificial haranel. Lena came clean about her no-longer-secret experiments, which Alex defended, explaining t... more

Jon Cryer Breaks Down Playing 'Sociopath' Lex Luthor on 'Supergirl'

After seasons of build-up, Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer) made his “Supergirl” debut in the fourth season episode entitled “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” Initially, the supervillain positioned himself as a sick man, eager to help his half-sister, Lena (Katie McGrath), work on a cure that could heal himself and the recently-shot James (Mehcad Brooks). Although he expressed frustration that Lena wasn’t willing to test human subjects, Lex seemed pleased to be working with his sibling during his temporary medical break from prison. But, ... more
