Claire Comes Face to Face with Jamie's Other Wife

Even though Outlander has been jerking us around for almost the entirety of season 3, they really outdo themselves with this episode, titled "First Wife." I had my doubts about the execution of the secret wife storyline, thinking they're going to continue to find ways to keep the two time-traveling lovers apart, but they come through like gangbusters. We meet Claire's placeholder and finally get the whole (juicy) story about how she came to be.A Chill at LallybrochAfter the dead bad... more

First Wife

Home sweet home? Lallybroch isn't quite as Claire remembered on Outlander Season 3 Episode 8. Is it time to stop that and just accept the lifestyles of the time she is in? Claire Can't Change the World with Her Beliefs more

Would Jamie Have Been Worse off Without Claire's Return on 'Outlander'?

While Jenny admitted that trouble followed Jamie on Outlander, she made it clear that she believed Jamie was safer without Claire around. That may not necessarily be the case. While it seems like Jamie's life is harder and more dangerous when Claire is around (and trouble does follow them), Claire's return may have saved Jamie's life. Her timing may have been perfect to keep him alive and out of prison. The Excise Man Would Have Still Attacked Clai... more

Was Jamie Right to Mention Willie in 'Outlander'?

Outlander book fans are debating the current changes from the book "Voyager" after the most recent episode, "A. Malcolm." The biggest change was Jamie telling Claire all about Willie. This could be one of the best changes for the sake of the show. Not only was it right for the moment, but it will help in the future. Just why was Jamie right to mention Willie? It Was Talk of Lost Children James Fraser hasn't had the best luck when it comes to children. Fait... more
