Started watching Luther because i've always liked Idris Elba, but after seeing his performance here i'm simply amazed by him. Season One was everything and more than you can hope for in a crime drama. Freakin' brilliant. Season two was still very exciting, but definitively weaker. They must've noticed though, because so far Season 3 had me on the edge of my seat for every minute! A much much greater return than I had expected! Fantastically chilling!

If you haven't ever watched this show- you should not miss it. Start with season 1. The only complaint I have is there are so few episodes for each season. Idris Elba is an incredible actor, the writing, story is intelligent and engaging.
