Series Finale Burning Down the House
As a super duper House fan, I can't help but feel a little cheated at not having the two hour finale continue the story. Instead, the first hour was about the making of the show. Sure, there were some interesting and fun moments here and I love Hugh Laurie. But hearing his real accent pushed the character of Dr. Gregory House further from my mind when I couldn't wait to find out the season ending of what becomes of House and Wilson. When that did happen, it turned out to be more than wo... more
School teacher Rebecca Adler arrives late at school. As she goes to class, her friend and fellow teacher, Melanie, figures that Rebecca was up late with her new boyfriend. Rebecca denies it but isn't very convincing. Rebecca greets her students and they ask her to talk about what she did over the weekend. Dangerous game #1: hiring a cafeteria full of patient actorsSu... more

Each time a TV series set in a hospital emergency room premieres, the first question asked by most viewers and critics is "can this be the new E.R.?" When it comes to the new CBS drama Code Black, that question is complicated by the fact that network executives have publicly touted the show as the one they believe is the best medical show since E.R. Whi... more
'Rosewood' Series Review: What's the Diagnosis?
In one of FOX's new procedural series, Morris Chestnut plays Dr. Beaumont Rosewood Jr., a private pathologist in Miami whose services are in high demand from the local law enforcement. Unfortunately, if the pilot is any indication of the rest of the series, the Quincy-like Rosewood is an unlikely vehicle for Morris Chestnut. The Plot Rosewood is an incredibly successful consultant living lar... more
