The Blind Fortune Teller

Gotham doesn’t have to be like the movie The Dark Knight. It really doesn’t. It doesn’t even have to be the lead up series to something like Batman Begins. I’m OK with getting a bit more fantastical with the characters and story, but the more the show progresses, the more I can’t help but think of Joel Schumacher’s Batman films: Batman Forever and Batman & Robin. And that’s not a good thing. Gotham Season 1... more

Charged with setting up the era of Batman (without ever saying his name), Fox’s crime drama took a bit of glee going through the motions, and even if the wild minds behind it couldn’t go full-tilt crazy in its waning hours, they did ensure a respectable legacy for an overtly beautiful and sneakily ambitious broadcast drama. “The Beginnings…” — an... more

Gotham's Erin Richards Teases the Surprising Fallout of Barbara's Reveal, Reflects on Her 'Bat$#*!' 5-Year Arc

t may not have actually been Valentine’s Day in Gotham this Thursday, but Jim Gordon’s love life sure took some interesting turns. At the close of an episode in which the decrepit city’s top cop squared off against his old Army buddy, Eduardo Dorrance (who it turned out had found Lee and was holding her hostage), Gordon realized ... more
