The Hero of Canton

One of my favorite episodes of Firefly is "Jaynestown," Firefly Season 1 Episode 7.   The crew travels to Canton, a smelly clay-making town, in order to pick up some goods. Unbeknownst to them, however, Jayne been to that town before, and has been heralded a folk hero there due to a misunderstanding.   Most of the fun is seeing the crew react to Jayne's hero status in Canton. Our Mrs. Reynolds

Titled "Our Mrs. Reynolds," Firefly Season 1 Episode 6 marks the first of a pair of really fun episodes of Firefly. Enjoy them... because the show gets really intense for a while after these. After saving a small town from plunderers, Mal and the rest of Serenity's crew are treated to a little celebratory party. Are We Safe?

I'll admit, in the five or six times I've watched the series, I usually gloss over Firefly Season 1 Episode 5. However, this time, I decided to try to watch it with fresh eyes.
