[WATCH] 'NCIS'/'NCIS: New Orleans' Crossover Sneak Peek: McGee Offers Sebastian Advice and Torres Is Arrested

McGee and Torres are heading to New Orleans for the NCIS crossover, "Pandora's Box," which kicks off the action in D.C. -- and begins with Abby in some trouble.

In the first part, Abby's think tank is compromised and she's found in possession of a real bomb. The team then learns that the leader of the group was murdered and a theoretical terror playbook was stolen. The second part sees McGee and Torres heading to New Orleans to work with Pride and his team to find that playbook.

As Gibbs puts it, "good work requires good people." See two teams of good people in action in the promo for the crossover:

Watch what the casts had to say about the NCIS and NCIS: New Orleans crossover:

In the wrong hands, the stolen playbook gives away inside information and possible strategies, and it's being auctioned off during Mardi Gras.

Gregorio's going undercover during this case, and there's going to be some friction between her and Torres, who's benched for the undercover work.

Meanwhile, Sebastian looks up to McGee and sees him as "almost a template for what [he] wants to become."

Check out a sneak peek of Torres ending up in trouble:

Rather than work together with McGee to follow someone, claiming that McGee sticks out in the crowd, Torres goes off on his own, only to end up with bloody hands and his gun out, following the masked suspect into a party filled with people in masks. When a police officer arrives, Torres can only put his bloody hands up.

See how Pride meets Torres in person:

As the officer explains, the suspect claimed he was NCIS but he didn't have his credentials because he was working undercover, so he had to take him into custody. This "suspect" is Torres, who has made quite the impression on Pride; he wasn't even in his city for two hours before he was arrested as a suspected murderer.

Watch NOLA check in with DC:

With a "rogues gallery of international operatives" descending on New Orleans, every agency wants in, but since Pride just got through handholding the FBI in the Javier Garcia case, he's more than happy to have Gibbs run interference for him. When he comments that Gibbs has always had a gentler way with the suits, McGee can't help but laugh and then be surprised, "That wasn't a joke?" Before McGee can escape (once he finds the right door), Gibbs asks about the beads around his neck.

See McGee offer Sebastian some advice:

Being partnered up in the field with McGee gives Sebastian a chance to learn from the "badass nerd." But McGee tells him that he made mistakes when he was a probie too. He just had people to show him the ropes, even though they were "merciless, downright mean sometimes." And then Sebastian uses one of McGee's tips to spot their target.

The NCIS/ NCIS: New Orleans crossover kicks off Tuesday Feb. 14 at 8/7c on CBS.
