Is Henry Cured for Good on 'Once Upon a Time'?

In a slight twist of events, Facilier somehow conjured up some magic to cure Henry to help break the curse on Once Upon a Time. But there has to be something else up Facilier's sleeve. He's been going around Hyperion Heights trying to find magic, manipulating people and killing anyone he deems unnecessary in his plan. I can't imagine he's had a change of heart to save Henry to impress Regina, as Lucy has suggested. So the question remains, is Henry actually cured?

It Was Too Easy

We know Facilier is after Rumple's dagger. And we know he's scared of Gothel and the coven. And we also know he's pretty evil. So when he offers to help try and cure Henry when Lucy asks him to, he agrees. Once she brings him her mother's glass slipper, Facilier finds magic and cures Henry with one of his voodoo dolls. However, after Henry and Jacinda kiss, the curse is not broken, which leads us to believe that cure or spell Facilier put on Henry might not be permanent.

It was just too easy. If this was how to cure Henry all along, why didn't he just help Regina in the first place? Why did he give Regina magic to find her own cure? Something else has to be going on in his mind. And I have a feeling it has to do with the coven, something that seems to be standing in the way of him getting Rumple's dagger.

It Didn't Break the Curse

Curing Henry and his reunion with Jacinda didn't break the curse. So what does this mean now? Quite frankly, I believe that the curse will be broken when Rogers and Tilly believe again and are reunited, which is why Henry's kiss didn't break the curse. Facilier had to have known that curing Henry wouldn't break the curse, but perhaps he needs Regina's help, so he put a temporary cure on Henry's heart to get on her good side.

I think whatever spell Facilier cast on Henry is to benefit himself and his goal of getting Rumple's dagger. If it is a permanent cure, then that's great. But I have a feeling that that cure is going to come with a bigger cost.

Maybe He's Changed

Or maybe I'm completely wrong and Facilier seems to be changing. Sure, he's had his weak moments, but Rumple still had weak moments when he was with Belle. How many times did they break up and get back together? Maybe Facilier is in love with Regina, and him curing Henry is just a way to earn her trust completely.

Sure, Facilier wants the curse broken to get back to his realm to be able to have magic to hopefully defeat Gothel. But why not win Regina back in the process?

It sure is a mystery how season 7 of Once Upon a Time is playing out. There are a lot of loose ends the series needs to tie up before it ends in just a few episodes. So, I sure hope that Henry is cured for good, and everyone can work together to break the curse and defeat whoever the real villain ends up being -- Gothel, Facilier, both or someone else (you never know with Once Upon a Time)!

Do you think Henry is really cured? If not, do you think the poison will come back? Or do you think he'll be cursed with something else? How do you think the curse will be broken? Why do you think Facilier cured Henry, even if temporarily? Let us know in the comments below.

Once Upon a Time's final season airs Fridays at 8/7c on ABC.
