It's time for a 'Happy Endings' reunion! Well, sort of.

Four members of the former ABC series have decided to join forces once more in a brand new project for Comedy Central. Creator David Caspe is teaming up with fellow writers (and brothers)Matthewand Daniel Libman for an upcoming single-camera comedy pilot 'Duty,' which willstar 'Happy Endings' alum Gil Ozeri .

The general premise of the pilot will focus mainly on the character of Kyle, played byMike O'Gorman('Ugly Americans' ). Kyle is a former football star who loses everything and is forced to start anew by moving back to his hometown and taking a job on the local police force opposite his childhood best friend, Lonnie (Ozeri).Laura Steinel('Draft Day') will also star, playing Kyle's former flame, Jamie.

The Libman brothers will pen the scriptand co-executive produce the pilot along with Jamie Tarses , who previously worked with them on the 'Happy Endings' series.

Caspe is keeping himself pretty busy these days, with 'Duty' already marking histhird pilot order of the season. In addition to this Comedy Central project, he's also writing and executive producing CBS''Cuz-Bros' as well asNBC's 'Marry Me' pilot, the latter of which starsCaspe's fiancéeand 'Happy Endings' vet Casey Wilson.

In fact, many of the former stars of theshort-lived cult comedy have gone on to receive other exciting TV offers. Damon Wayans Jr. has returned in a series regular capacity on 'New Girl;' Eliza Coupe is gearing up to star in USA's courtroom comedy 'Benched;' Elisha Cuthbert has been cast in NBC's 'One Big Happy;' Zachary Knighton is joining FOX's new pilot 'Weird Loners;' and Adam Pally's gotten bumped to a series regular position on 'The Mindy Project.'

Overall, we'd say things are looking prettyamazing.
