Jimmy Akingbola on Arrow
The character of Baron Reiter, better known as Baron Blitzkrieg in the DC comic books, will make his first appearance on CW's Arrow in season 4. Akinbola has a mostly UK-background in television, making appearances in BBC One's Holby City, Holby Blue and Doctors. He joins other recently announced Arrow newbies Neal McDonough (playing Damien Darhk), Echo Kellum (playing Mr. Terrific) and Alexander Calvert (playing Anarky).

Arrow season 4 premieres October 7 on The CW.

Robbie Amell and Lauren Ambrose on The X-Files

Robbie Amell (of The Flash and little brother to Arrow's Stephen Amell) joins FOX's reboot of The X-Files with actress Lauren Ambrose (USA's Dig) as the two newest agents. Amell will play the role of Agent Miller, said to be smart and smooth. Ambrose will be playing the part of Agent Einstein, appropriately named, as she's said to be very sharp and confident.

Additionally, the series will be bringing back even more familiar faces. Dean Haglund announced on Twitter that he, Bruce Harwood and Tom Braidwood will be reprising their roles as the Lone Gunmen. Since the characters met their end in the ninth season, the nature of their return will be interesting to see.

The new 6-episode chapter of The X-Files begins January 24, 2016.

Shannyn Sossamon on Sleepy Hollow

According to TVLine, the Wayward Pines actress will enter Sleepy Hollow for a "mysterious" series-regular role named Pandora this Fall. Pandora will be a mysterious presence in the town of Sleepy Hollow that comes for help from Witness Ichabod and Abbie. Sossamon will join Nikki Reed as a season 3 newcomer this fall, who was recently announced to be cast as the character of Betsy Ross.

Sleepy Hollow season 3 premieres October 1 on FOX.

Steven R. McQueen on Chicago Fire

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Vampire Diaries alum heads to Firehouse 51 this Fall for the role of Jimmy Borelli, the newest candidate. He is said to make a dramatic entrance on his very first day, leaving a sour first impression with Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker).

Chicago Fire season 4 premieres October 13 on NBC.

Michael Chiklis on Gotham

Michael Chiklis will put the badge on once again, but this time in an even more corrupted city; Gotham. According to TVLine, Chiklis has signed on for the series regular character of Captain Nathaniel Barnes. His character has been described by Gotham producers as someone who "lands on the GCPD like a tornado, ripping out the dead wood of Gotham's police force. He is a law and order zealot; unafraid of making enemies - on either side of the law. For Gordon (Ben McKenzie), Barnes is a hero and a mentor, someone with whom he can share the burden of heroism. Captain Barnes proves himself to be a strong ally to Gordon...but one day he will make an equally powerful enemy."

Gotham season 2 premieres September 25 on FOX.
