Nick Offerman on
Brooklyn Nine-Nine
Ron Swanson is back, ladies and gentleman. Well, kind of,
since Nick Offerman basically
is Ron Swanson. Offerman will head to Brooklyn to play
Captain Holt's ex-boyfriend, says TVLine. Details about why his
character is coming to town have not yet been revealed, but there's
no doubt that Offerman will be an amazing addition to the
Brooklyn cast.
Anne Heche on
Quantico
ABC's successful new thriller-drama is adding another new
face to the mix. The
Donnie Brasco star will guest star as Dr. Susan Langdon,
once a medical examiner and FBI agent who is now best-selling
author, says TVLine. She reaches Quantico to teach a seminar on
catching serial killers, unaware that there is one among them.

The Walking Dead
According to Deadline, this
True Detective and
12 Years a Slave star has signed on to
The Walking Dead for a major recurring role. His character,
David, was seen in the season 6 opener as one of the residents of
the Alexandra Safe Zone community.
Adam Croasdell on
Once Upon a Time
Once fans are finally going to meet Hook's father.
EastEnders' star Adam Croasdell has joined the series for an
episode which will explore Hook's past, says Entertainment Weekly.

The Middle
The one-time wife of Larry David on
Curb Your Enthusiasm has signed on to play entrepreneurial
dentist, Dr. Sommer Samuelson, says TVLine. Dr. Samuelson is the
head of Smile Superstars International, the company which has
franchised Frankie's dental office. Dr. Samuelson will be an
incredibly optimistic powerhouse.
Powers Boothe on
Agents of SHIELD
Powers Boothe has a long list of recurring bad-guy roles on
some huge shows and is now adding Marvel's
Agents of SHIELD to his list. Boothe will play Gideon
Malick, described as a "mystery man who even Grant Ward would
fear", according to TVLine. Jeph Loeb, head of Marvel TV told
Marvel.com that, "Only someone of Powers' caliber could deliver the
type of ominous and powerful performance we needed."
