TV and film actor Bill Paxton died Saturday from complications due to surgery. The sudden and tragic death ends a long career of an actor who has starred in many popular films.

Paxton is currently starring on the CBS drama Training Day, Thursdays at 10/9c, and he has finished production on the first season. His son, James Paxton, has also filmed a guest appearance on the show.
