Those of you who LOVED The X-Files Season 11 premiere can turn away for a few seconds. The rest of you must be breathing a sigh of relief.  Then again, The X-Files Season 11 Episode 2 should have also done pretty much what I said it would do; it left you in just a little bit of a state of confusion as to why "My Struggle III" was aired when it was because, with the exception of a few minor details, Scully and Mulder were in better form than they've been in ages. 3 Life Lessons About Beauty and Aging from 'The X-Files' Episode 'Nothing Lasts Forever'

Get the barf bucket ready. The second-to-last episode of The X-Files' 11th season may have been the goriest of the year, maybe even of the past two decades. With the strict Standards and Practices of the 1990s loosening, Mulder and Scully are able to test the bloody waters of modern network television in "Nothing Lasts Forever," as they literally stumble into a cannibal camp. However, "Familiar" really takes the cake. The season 11 episode tracks our dynamic duo as they explore a reported animal attack in Connecticut. What starts out as a simple... more

10 Terrifying Inventions from 'The X-Files' Episode 'Rm9sbG93ZXJz' That We Already Have in Real Life

The X-Files has always been fascinated by the potential evils of "smart" technology -- one of the first episodes of the original season featured an intelligent computer system killing off corporate executives. But in "Rm9sbG93ZXJz" (an episode title I can only type out once), the show pushes the idea to its limits, and frankly, it hits a little too close to home. This season 11 episode -- which interestingly enough, features little to no dialogue -- follows Mulder and Scully as they... more
