Winter Finale Can Barry Outthink DeVoe?

Just because it's the holidays doesn't mean everyone's in good spirits in this episode of The Flash -- and that's even before both Barry and Caitlin are kidnapped. But poor choices in wedding gifts and a preference for a villainous alter ego are the least of their troubles. Also in "Don't Run," though DeVoe's body continues to fail him, he's ready to put a plan in motion, one that will allow him to stand beside his wife in no time, he promises her. And that plan of his means trouble for Barry, trouble... more

Don't Run

The Thinker didn't hold back against the Scarlet Speedster as the fastest mind went up against the fastest man alive. But that isn't the only trouble that Team Flash went up against with Amunet Black back in town on The Flash Season 4 Episode 9. Given that we have 23 episodes per season, I didn't expect The Flash Season 4 to have a showdown like this so soon. That is one of the primary reasons "Don't Run" ended up being as strong as it was. I will admit though, there wa... more

Will Harry's Thinking Cap Turn Him into a Villain on 'The Flash'?

In the episode, "Run, Iris, Run" The Flash managed to hit two metaphorical birds with one stone by giving Harry a reason to be relevant (something that's been missing for seasons) and finding a possible way to defeat The Thinker. Inspired by the villain himself, Harry created a Thinking Cap that boosted his intelligence. Matching The Thinker at his own game isn't the worst way Team Flash has ever tried to take down a villain but fans might want to be slightly concerned for Harry's ment... more

'The Flash': Which Character Screwed up the Most in 'Run, Iris, Run'?

Over the past few years, The Flash viewers have watched Barry Allen screw up a lot. One might assume that this is because Barry is the titular hero of the show, an identity that brings with it many opportunities for errors. Alternatively, it could just be that Barry is a screw-up. The "Run, Iris, Run" episode gives us ample opportunity to test this hypothesis: With Iris as a speedster, does she screw up the most? Or does another character make more mistakes? Iris more

'The Flash' Adds 2 Familiar Metas: Meet Janet Petty and Edwin Gauss

The search for the final two bus metas is on, and Team Flash finally has a leg up on Clifford DeVoe. In fact, they now have a Thinker of their own. Harry (Tom Cavanagh) slipped on his version of the Thinking Cap in "Run, Iris, Run," immediately prompting viewers -- and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) -- to wonder if a villainous twist is in store for the Earth-2 native. While we worry, however, Wells' experimentation with gray matter steroids has gifted the STAR Labs crew with the names of the remaining bus metas -- Janet Petty and Edwin Gauss. Of the... more
