A Young Kara and Alex Solve a Murder

The best part of Supergirl has always been the relationship between Kara and her sister, Alex. In this episode, titled "Midvale," Kara and Alex are front and center. Although the episode opens on Kara and Alex traveling back to their hometown in present-day, things quickly switch to an almost entirely flashback-driven tale. The result is ... interesting. "Midvale" isn't quite a bad episode but doesn't feel much like Supergirl. more

Though "Reign" was set during the holidays, the only gift Kara received was landing in a coma following her bout with the newest Kryptonian on the block. The finale wasn't all violence and depression, however, as Lena and James capitalized on their (sudden) romantic interest in each other with a kiss. While the couple hasn't been instantly pop... more

Ruby Is the Weakest Part of the Reign Storyline on 'Supergirl'

The dawn of Reign has begun on Supergirl. From her very first appearance it was obvious that Supergirl had big plans for Odette Annable's Samantha, and not just for those who read the casting news about the character . Yet it wasn't until the winter finale, entitled "Reign," that those plans finally materialized. Reign is here and she's living up to her name. While more
