Can Kara Trust Lena's Ex-Boyfriend?

Supergirl's return after a lengthy(ish) hiatus is welcome on several fronts. Not only is it great to have our girl of steel back on TV in this episode, titled "Ace Reporter," but Supergirl gets back to basics. There is none of the Daxam plot or even that much of Mon-El in general. Instead, Supergirl offers up an old-school standalone episode that has Kara on her own solving crimes and using not much more than her wits and powers. There's Something About JackKara is feeling... more

Ace Reporter

Friendships were tested on Supergirl Season 2 Episode 18, but it's okay, the besties survived.  There was a good amount of time spent building a strong relationship between Kara and Lena. Her people hated the Daxamite people, and Kara had to get over that to be able to see Mon-El for who he is. Too bad "who he is" was a lie that he made up to hide that he's really the former Prince of Daxam. His Relationship with Kara Mon-El's relationship with Kara has grown from lies and deception; he hid who he was from her fo... more

'Supergirl': Should Kara Take Her Job Back at CatCo?

The preview for the April 24th episode of Supergirl shows Kara heading back to CatCo after being fired by Snapper for breaching her contract and running a story on a blog of her own. Yes, this was a poor decision for Kara to make, especially given her contract and the leap of faith Cat took in promoting her with no experience to being a reporter. But, Kara made the right call ultimately in running the story on her own, and somehow it gained enough traction online that her boss became aware of it. Would she be successful blogging on her own and working ... more
