Shondaland makes several additions, Poison Ivy gets a new face on Gotham, a Castle star takes the lead on a new crime drama series, and more. Check out the latest fall TV casting news.

Bethany Joy Lenz on Grey's Anatomy

On the heels of series regular Martin Henderson and recurring guest star Abigail Spencer's exit on Grey's Anatomy, the ABC medical drama has booked Bethany Joy Lenz for a guest arc for season 14. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the One Tree Hill star will play a character named Jenny though the details of the role are being kept under wraps.

Alberto Frezza on Grey's Anatomy Spin-Off

Dead of Summer actor Alberto Frezza is the last addition to the roster of series regulars on Grey's Anatomy's upcoming firefighter spin-off. TV Line reports that Frezza will be filling the role of Ryan. Frezza joins previously announced cast members Miguel Sandoval, Jaina Lee Ortiz, Grey Damon, Jay Hayden, Okieriete Onaodowan, Danielle Savre, Barrett Doss and Grey's Anatomy star Jason George.

Peyton List on Gotham

When Ivy Pepper, also known as Poison Ivy, returns to Gotham, she'll come in the form of Peyton List. According to TV Guide, the Frequency actress will be taking the role of the comic villain, who is expected to be more seductive in early 2018. Prior to the casting of List, the role of Ivy was represented by Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova) and Bruce Wayne's troubled friend, played by Clare Foley. In season 3, Maggie Geha took over the role and later the character resurfaced as a young adult and Oswald Cobblepott's (Robin Lord Taylor) new sidekick.

Jeff Kober on NCIS: Los Angeles

NCIS: Los Angeles is making room for Jeff Kober, who has been cast to play a key recurring role for season 9. Deadline has confirmed that Kober will play Harris Keane, who is a significant part of Hetty's (Linda Hunt) past. Kober, who is credited for his work in Sons of Anarchy, The Walking Dead and Sully, is expected to debut in the November 5 episode of the CBS crime drama series.

Nathan Fillion on The Rookie

Nathan Fillion is returning to ABC as he stars on the crime drama series The Rookie. Deadline reports that the former Castle star will play John Nolan, the oldest rookie in the LAPD who left his comfortable small town life to move to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of being a cop. Fillion, who recently appeared on Santa Clarita Diet, will also serve as executive producer for the straight-to-series order, along with Castle executive producer Alexi Hawley.

Jon Cryer on Dads and Daughters

Two and a Half Men alum Jon Cryer will be working on a new family comedy drama entitled Dads and Daughters for CBS. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the multi-camera series revolves around "a reserved math teacher with Midwestern values and an outgoing personal trainer who must bite the bullet and move in together rather than splitting their daughters up when their common ex-wife heads to prison for credit card fraud." Cryer, who recently appeared on NCIS and Ryan Hansen Solves Crimes on Television, is currently not billed to star.
