AMC Sets 'Halt and Catch Fire' Season 4 Premiere Date

If you're a fan of Halt and Catch Fire, then here's some exciting news. AMC has revealed the premiere date for season 4, along with a short teaser video. Unfortunately, this is the final season for the drama.

Season 4 will premiere with a two-hour episode on Saturday, August 19 at 9/8c. This is the first time that the series will be airing on Saturdays. Seasons 1 and 2 aired on Sundays, while season 3 aired on Tuesdays.

As previously reported , this final season will consist of 10 episodes.

In a statement, co-creators Christopher Cantwell and Christopher C. Rogers said, "Six years ago, AMC bet on a passion project and the two untested young guys behind it. As a consequence, we've been allowed to take the creative journey of our lives and tell a story that, over four seasons, became something greater than the sum of its parts. As its core, Halt and Catch Fire has always been about how people who make things put themselves into the things they create. Alongside our exceptional cast, writing staff, producers and the network partners, we couldn't be more excited to share these final 10 episodes of this beautiful thing we all made together."

Also, AMC has released a 30-second teaser for the final season. It doesn't reveal much but does hint at the early days of the "World Wide Web" and gives us a first look at Anna Chlumsky's character. Check out the video below:

The series, about the computer industry in the 1980s and early 1990s, stars Lee Pace, Mackenzie Davis, Scoot McNairy, Kerry Bishe and Toby Huss.
